The Positive Research On Anhut's Regional Competitiveness

With the development of economic globalization,the competition between regions is becoming more and more drastic.the region development has become the joint target of the all levels governments,but regional competition is also a challenge that the all levels governments must face together. The essence of the regional development is to achieve the comparing advantage and to obtain the competitive advantage continuously, so in fact regional competition and development is the process to improve the regional competitiveness. In this background,more and more people start to study regional competitiveness. For this,the paper takes regional competitiveness as research theme,and defines it through the comparison of competition to competitiveness,and comparative advantage to competitive advantage.Then,it analyses the economic basis of regional competitiveness. At the same time , according to the fact in China,this paper designs a set of index system for evaluating regional competitiveness by researching many models,and evaluates the competitiveness of Anhui by using factor analysing method and comparing with other five provinces of Mid-China,Finally, this paper puts forward the methods of improving the Anhui's competitiveness. As a result,it enriches and improves the research on regional competitiveness.It can be divided into 5 parts.Firstly,it introduces the history and current conditions of research on regional competitiveness in domestic and abroad.Secondly,it pays more attention to the theoretical hypothesis on regional competitiveness.in this part,it analyses deeply the economic basis of regional competitiveness,theoretical models and evaluation models,then it puts forward the author's model. Thirdly ,it takes Anhui as an example to test the theoretical hyothesis on regional competitiveness,then,it finds some counter-measures to heighten regional competitiveness of Anhui province. In the last parts,it summarizes some main conclusions.
