The Empirical Research On The Eco-Tourist's Division And Difference Between Attitude And Behavior

Ecotourism is publicly recognized as one of the most important ways for the sustainable development of tourism industry, as it can well deal with environmental protection and resource allocation in the course of developing tourism and achieve a healthy, continuous growth in the long run. But with the rapid development of ecotourism, the conception of ecotourism is misunderstood and expanded, the tourism activities named of ecotourism lead great pressure to the environment. The characteristics of Chinese ecotourists show their differences with international ecotourism conception, exploring Chinese ecotourist's environment attitude and behavior is significant for the problem solving.Based on the tourist behvaior and comsumer behavior theory, put forwards the hypothesis to explore the relationship between eoctourist's enviroment atittude and behavior, and as a basis for ecotourists to the classification, also explore the area for ecotourists of different management methods, the final conclusions are as follows:(1) Tourist's environment attitude has stong correlation with environment behavior; it shows that tourist's attitude and behavior could be the criterion of classfication of ecotourist.(2) According to the tourist attitudes and behavior theory, domestic ecotourists can be divided into hard ecotourists, sotf ecotourist and sturetured ecotourist. Most ecotourists are sturetured ecotourists, hard ecotourists are the least, followed by soft ecotourists. Sturetured ecotourist can be divided into tourists with high-environmental attitude and low-environment behavior, tourists with low-environmental attitude and high-environment behavior, also proposed the related management countermeasure and suggestion.(3) Chinese ecotourist's environment atittude and behavior is not consistent. The reason that lead to the difference bewteen attitude and behavior of Chinese ecotourism including two sides: the visitor themselves's incentive factor and outside factors influencing factors.
