As the stakeholders of ecological protection and ecotourism, residents play a vital role in the development of ecotourism in a region. The perception and attitude of tourism residents on tourism impact directly affects their support and recognition of ecotourism development. However,Residents in different locations in the same tourist area often have different perceptions of tourism impact and different attitudes. This difference has important guiding significance for the implementation and the improvement of ecotourism development policies.Under the background of the current promoting eco-tourism,Taking Wulingyuan,an eco-tourism area,as an example, this study draws on Jaakson's(2004)criteria for the spatial division of tourist bubble,Dividing the entire Wulingyuan source into three areas: core, transition and periphery.By comparing the data of three regions, based on the theory of social exchange, distance decay theory and tourism bubble theory,In-depth analysis the differences in perceptions and attitudes of residents in different spatial areas in the same tourist area through factor analysis and multiple regression equations. The following conclusions are drawn:(1)In general,Wulingyuan residents have a positive attitude towards tourism development, and the transition zone is more intense.Residents in the core area have a deeper sense of economic, social and cultural positives, and the quality and ability of residents, but,However, have more negative about social costs and living environment.Showing a trend of decreasing from the core area to the peripheral area.In terms of environmental construction perception,it is clear that residents in the transition zone are more sympathetic to the development of tourism that makes locality more environmentally conscious and protected.(2)“Economic positive impact perception” is the primary factor affecting Residents support attitude towards tourism development.Wulingyuan's “Core/Transition/Periphery”,a variable reflecting spatial factors,is a secondary factor affecting residents' tourism development support and sense of belonging, showing the spatial differentiation of residents' support attitude and sense of belonging to tourism development. This difference is spatially manifested as: in the core area, the positive perception of the economy is the most important factor affecting the support attitude and sense of belonging of the residents' tourism development, and positive sociocultural perception apparently constitutes the main factor in the transitional and peripheral areas.(3)From the perspectives of tourism economy, social culture, living environment, social cost, environmental construction, residents' quality and ability, and the support of tourism development and the expectation of two attitude indicators, the income level is the main factor affecting residents' positive perception of tourism economy and social and cultural level, and the level of education has a great impact on residents' negative perception of living environment and tourism development support, and length of residence will directly affect residents' perception of the negative impact on tourism.
