Stepping from treating engineering cost information as a kind of social resource, this research carries on a research on the basis of making database, data warehouse as a storage and collection centre, trying to combine traditional query, information processing and analyzing, compromising decision-support functions in All-in-One engineering cost information sharing platform. The main contents are:A document review is carried on about domestic and foreign engineering cost information management theories and practices. By analyzing existing problems and shortcomings of engineering cost information management,it presents the necessity and intensity about establishing a nation-wide engineering cost information platform.By potential customers'demand analysis,it determines main functions arrangement and logic model for establishing the engineering cost information platform.Through design research of each functional module,it detailed researches realization principles and methodology for each module.On the above basis,it carries on an initial design research about database,data warehouse,and model library of engineering cost information platform.A raw engineering cost information data collection table was designed,and supplies feasible management and maintenance suggestions on the future engineering cost information platform.Finally,it summarizes main research outcomes and gives an outlook about researching in engineering cost information platform.
