In this paper, to study the region of Panzhihua, this is typical resource-based city. in ecology and related disciplines theory, with the support of the help of GIS, to DEM, land use map, and administration zoning map as the main research data, with the region of Panzhihua characteristics and study the evolution of an in-depth analysis of the carrying capacity of eco-environment, the purpose is to reveal the study area carrying capacity of eco-environment status, the impact analysis of the evolution of the natural eco-environment driving factors, such as slope, landscape pattern, etc. Through the research, which will enhance overall scientific understanding of the eco-environment of Panzhihua, provide theory reference for eco-environment construction, and also offer advanced methods and scientific database for studying the eco-environment of the Panzhihua, which had important guiding significance for the sustainable development of Panzhihua.According to the primary eco-environment issues, summarized former research, conception frame for the integrative assessment of carrying capacity of eco-environmental was brought forward. Based on the method of GIS, combing with the former achievements and important investigations on the Panzhihua, the single factors of the eco-environment were analyzed. The indicators system of integrative assessment on the Panzhihua and its relative models were established in the present study. The integrative assessment of carrying capacity of eco-environment was calculated based on mainly improved method of principle analysis and entropy method, whose basic units are Miyi county, Yanbian county, and Renhe region.Through the analysis of factors of eco-environment show that: The main terrain characteristics of Panzhihua is slope, the slope easily lead to soil erosion, ground broken, which is suitable planting trees and grass, the existing farmland should returning to forest and grazing, for reducing further loss of water and soil; based on the analysis of Panzhihua landscape patter, we can seen that landscape diversity of Renhe region was higher than the others, and which has the smaller landscape fragmentation, at the same time, the characteristic of Yanbian county at the intermediate level, Miyi county had the opposite features.For the carrying capacity of the ecological environment, support degree and elasticity play a positive role; on the contrary, vulnerability plays a negative role. Through the analysis of carrying capacity of eco-environment show that: the carrying capacity of eco-environment of Renhe region is more superior to Yanbian county and Miyi county. Renhe region has bigger eco-environment vulnerability, and smaller eco-environment elastic degree, however, which has fine support degree, so the entirety is better than the others, but this can't show Renhe region had much more development, to achieve sustainable development, which should reduce vulnerability degree, and enhance the elasticity degree. On the contrary, Miyi County has finer eco-environment elastic degree, and smaller eco-environment vulnerability, but whose support degree is not enough, the entirety is worst, so, the important thing for Miyi County is to improve the support degree. , Yanbian county had the similar case, through which was superior to Miyi county on a certain extent, Yanbian county also need to enhance support degree.The carrying capacity of eco-environment was only the integrated performance of many indicators. To achieve sustainable development of the region, can't only look the effectiveness of the overall value, ignoring the various influencing factors, Only Various factors can be of benign, the regional sustainable development can be promoted essentially. Through the analysis of factors of eco-environment and carrying capacity of eco-environment, we can adopt following ways to enhance the carrying capacity of eco-environment: Control population growth and improve the overall quality of the population; Protect arable land, plant tree; rational development and utilization of mineral resources; protect biological diversity, etc.
