City Carry Capacity Evaluation And Application Research Of Guangzhou A Dissertation Submitted For The Degree Of Master

With the rapid economic development of urbanization, densely populated, traffic, environmental quality deterioration, ecological security threats are drawn more and more times. How to coordinate the urban economy, society and environment resources sustainable development become more and more important. The root of the problem lies in the city life and production environment resource conflicts and increasing contradictions. In the current urban development and construction, there are lots of problems, for example, the inefficient use of resources, waste of urban land and the problem of city circle,which made land,water and energy resources nervous and the serious pollution of environment, ecological degradation and traffic jams growing. In this case, study of urban comprehensive capacity and puting forward some countermeasures have realistic meanings.This paper will be divided into five sections. Main contents of chapters are as follows:The first chapter is introduction. After discussing the necessity of research on the comprehensive carrying capacity of Guangzhou city, researches on the comprehensive capacity at home and abroad were reviewed, and then the problem was puted forward.The second chapter is constructing urban comprehensive evaluation model. Based on previous research method in the analysis of bearing, urban comprehensive capacity evaluation model was constructed in this chapter based on state space method and the ecological footprint model.The third chapter is Guangzhou urban comprehensive capacity assessment. In this chapter, evaluation index system of guangzhou city's comprehensive carrying capacity was put forward. And the indexes are subdivided and explained.In the fourth chapter, Guangzhou urban comprehensive capacity was evaluated with urban comprehensive capacity model which was established in the previous chapters. Then we can get actual load condition of Guangzhou. That is the city state in comprehensive carrying of Guangzhou is overloaded since 2004.The fifth chapter is the applied research of Guangzhou city comprehensive carrying capacity. According to the data of guangzhou city integrated bearing state in the third chapter, using the impulse response function method, we have done a empirical research on relationship of Guangzhou city integrated bearing state and economic growth rate with introducing the concept of elasticity.The last chapter is conclusions and recommendations. The empirical research showed that the situation of Guangzhou's environment carrying capacity has shown onload conditions and carrying increased spaces still existed from the year 1995 to 2003. The situation of Guangzhou's environment carrying capacity has shown overload conditions from the year 2004 to 2007. In 2007。The increasingly prominent contradiction exists between Guangzhou rapid economic growth and urban resources environment comprehensive carrying capacity of system.The rapid economic growth increased Guangzhou bearing status, however, the deterioration of Guangzhou city integrated bearing status restricted the guangzhou economic growth in return.Finally, Suggestions to improve the integrated bearing capacity of Guangzhou city were proposed based on the empirical analysis results.
