In the environment of market economy, the competition of enterprises is the competition of persons with ability. How to attract, keep and mark good use of them is a key problem in the enterprises'human resource management. The effective compensation system is the most powerful tool to attract, encourage, develop and keep them. In order to strengthen the erergy of enterprises, raise their ability of competition and realize their persistent development, we should set up a scientific and reasonable compensation system which can play a good role in the function of encouragement.How to combine the salary closely with the performance? How to combine the salary closely with the benefit of the corporation? How to make the salary assessment equal, impartial and transparent? Salary management is the eternal problem that enterprise managers faced with. With this problem, the writer analyses the current salary structure and management measure of medium size and large manufacture enterprise, combining the salary systems'characteristic existing in the diesel engine enterprises, as well as the status and problem have being used in HUDONG industry company, thus work out a new salary system—performance ration salary system. In this set of salary system, the salary is mainly constituted by three parts, 1. Production: reflecting market demand and employee's production; 2. Ration coefficient: reflecting the technique difficulty and requirement and the skill of the employee's; 3.Assessment: Reflecting the employees'performance on quality, efficiency, cost and 5S.The implementation of this new salary system incarnated the characteristic of"salary should be depended on performance, salary should be depended on the corporation benefit, the salary assessment is equal, impartial and transparent."It not only incenting the enthusiasm of the employee but also improve the working efficiency, the stability of the quality, reducing the cost, but also accord the department and individual's work with the company's strategy and performance requirements.
