contributing to the rapid economic development. The demission of medical representative is always the obstacle of the development of private medical enterprise. Since there is little research ever carried out on turnover intention of medical representative, this study is conducted based on career commitment and job satisfaction to discuss the interaction among career commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention(flow within the career). Career commitment includes four dimensions: affective commitment, normative commitment, accumulated cost commitment and limited alternatives commitment. Job satisfaction includes five dimensions: nature of job, promotion, pay, leader and colleague. A total of 353 medical representatives in the private medical enterprise in Wuhan was investigated. The related information was collected in questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the software SPSS and some conclusions can be drawn as follows:1) Career commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention of medical representative in the private medical enterprise are all in a lower level;2) There are significant differences on career commitment,job satisfaction and turnover intention in some demography variables, such as the age, education, marriage status and working experience;3) Job satisfaction of medical representatives of private medical enterprise has significant negative correlation with career commitment and its four dimensions; career commitment has significant negative correlation with turnover intention; Job satisfaction has significant positive correlation with turnover intention.It is demonstrated that career commitment is a reflection of a more stable and general employee attitude, job satisfaction is a reflection of a more fragile and changeable emplyee attitude,which is easy to be affected by the external factors and personal mood;4) According to the results of regression analysis, job satisfaction has a greater effect on turnover intention than career commitment. From all kinds of dimensions,satisfaction with nature of job,limited alternatives commitment, satisfaction with pay and affective commitment are the important factors to impact on turnover intention.
