E Company is the largest manufacturer of communication system worldwide. E company play a key role in China since telecom introduce to China early in 1893. It has the leading position globally for its total end to end solution and professional services among telecom vendors. That makes E Company a distinct representative within foreign communication supplier in China. By following the quick development of the economic society, "Post-80" (regarding to people who was born after 1980)'s generation start to stand in the business. They will become main resource for the economical community in few years. Compare to people born from 60's,70's, Post-80's have their own unique characters. That brings up challenges to the modern enterprise management. "Post-80"'s generation is also the target resources of new employee recruitment for E Company in recent years. And they became play a key role in the front line of the company step by step. Together with the new forces, they also bring in many challenges to the management of the company. Based on Maslow's theory of hierachy needs, this article describe the investigation and analysis the needs of post-80's employee in E Company. By following the result and based on the motivation theory, give out advice and suggested action in order to improve "post- 80"'s staff enthusiasm, achievement and satisfactions. The study and analysis on hierarchy needs of employee from Post-80's generation in the company gives imperative meaning and value to the employer when setting up motivation strategy, HR management policy especially in resource hiring, retain, employ, and training. The study also gives a good and practical reference to telecom industry and even other economic area. There are four chapters included in this thesis. In chapter 1, introduce the background for the study; the value for practice and for theory, target of study and the method used for the analysis and study. In chapter 2, describe theory of needs and Maslow's hierarchy needs theory and other related theory. Briefly introduce collected theory of motivation worldwide. For Chapter 3, analysis the hierarchy needs of employees from Post-80's generation, by using results from the paper investigation questionnaires. For Chapter 4, analysis the needs in hierarchy and suggest motivation method by using related theory.
