Domestic Brand Handset How To Deal With Impact Of Foreign Brand Handset And "ShanZhai" Handset

There has been nearly ten years since China involved into handset manufacturing industry from 1998, the gap between domestic brand handset and foreign brand handset is getting smaller, the localization degree of material, facility and fixture for handset manufacture are getting higher and higher. But domestic brand handset is still in hardship in the course of China handset industry development, there still has big gap in many aspect for domestic brand handset to catch up with well known foreign brand handset like Nokia, Sonyericsson, Motorola, etc. At the same time , domestic brand also meet with great impact from "ShanZhai" handset these years. This paper analysed current situation of China handset industry, try to give some reference for domestic brand handset how to improve their competence and deal with impact from well known foreign brand and "ShanZhai" handset.This paper total has seven sections, the first section is prolegomenon, the second section introduce current handset development status in China; the third section introduce the characters and problems of "ShanZhai" handset; the forth section analysis compete structure of China mobile industry; the fifth section analysis domestic brand handset strength & weakness, opportunity & threaten, and problems of domestic brand handset; the sixth section give some suggestions for domestic brand handset company how to improve their competence; the seventh part is summarize and expectation.
