The Analysis Of Inter-product Trade Between China And Japan

Since the 1970s, driven by economic globalization and technological progress, inter-products division of labor is becoming the international division of labor, and spare parts as the main content of the products in international trade has become the main form of trade. Based on comparative advantages, developed and developing countries specialized in the production chain of different trade links and different parts of the production, and it has a material impact on the domestic industrial structure, the structure of employment, income distribution and technological progress, and makes access to different interests . In view of this, the products within the international division of labor and product trade in the current international trade has become a hot topic in academia, and generated a great deal of research results.On the basis of in the previous study literature review and summing up the basic inter-product trade theory, this paper studies the inter-product trade of Sino-Japanese and selects the electrical and electronic products as an example, which occupies an important position in the Sino-Japanese trade. Firstly, it analyses the Sino-Japanese trade status and characteristics, and then analyzes the Sino-Japanese electrical and electronic products trade characteristics. Through analysis, we can see that the inter-product trade of Sino-Japanese electrical and electronic products is extremely active in the trade, but also is the main source of trade deficit.For an in-depth analysis of the inter-product trade of the electrical and electronic products, the paper starts with the factors which influence the inter-product trade of electrical and electronic products ,such as product life cycle, the difference in the size of the market, the activities of transnational corporations, trade barriers, geographical Distance, and the labor cost difference .These are not only reasons why the inter-product trade of electrical and electronic products are so active ,but also, to a certain extent, decide the form of the distribution of interests status between the two counties. Then using the inter-products trade index (VSS), the level of competitiveness index (TC) and comparative advantage index (RCA), the paper fatherly analyses the characteristics of inter-produce trade in electrical and electronic products trade. While VSS indicates that the level of inter-product has reached a very high level, the competitiveness index shows that China's level of competitiveness of the parts is not high, comparative advantages in the assembly advantage are stranger than advantages in the production; the product is still at the bottom in production value chain. As a result, China receives little interest from the inter-product trade. To prove this conclusion, the paper also established a measurement model ,which shows that the continuous improvement of inter-product trade of Sino-Japanese electrical and electronic products has not improved interests ,that China receives from the Sino-Japan trade.On the basis of the above, the paper revealed the final conclusions of the basic research, and made a number of policy recommendations. Through improving the statue of the division of labor, using more domestic procurement, making multinational corporations playing an active role in promoting and nurturing global competitive edge enterprises, then the status of China in the international division of labor market has promoted.
