However, through developing the folk-custom tourism, it could be preserved with a brand-new method to satisfy the needs of the traditional and aesthetic cognition. Moreover, it could satisfy modern people's psychological needs for novelty-seeking, difference-seeking, knowledge-seeking, and root-seeking to enrich their lives. Therefore, how to explore in depth the essence of fishermen folk-custom in Rizhao area, study its evolvement history, and explore the suitable fishermen custom exploitation programs, has become a very important topic.With the high-class air, water quality, blue sea, blue sky,and golden sands, Rizhao Happy Fishing folk-custom Tourism is developing with a very rapid speed, which is even faster than that of Rizhao City's overall tourism pace. From the perspective of sorting out and utilizing comprehensively the fishermen's folk custom, this thesis made an attempt to sufficiently excavate its connotation, provide a theoretical basis and specific provision for fishermen's folk-custom tourism development, and supply decision-mking reference for Rizhao government with the aim to provide an overall data for the protection, development, and transmission of fishermen folk-custom in Rizhao Area of Shandong Province.The innovative fruits of this thesis are as follows: 1 .This thesis systematically reviewed and neatened various components of fishermen folk-custom of Rizhao area in Shandong Province for the first time. At the same time, plentiful beneficial or first-hand data was collected , such as the production of Rizhao fisheries, livelihood of fishermen, and the original data & pictures of sea-sacrificing. Moreover, this thesis analysed the forming causes of Rizhao fishermen folk-custom from various aspects such as the history, geography, manufacture, and religion with the attempt to find its developing regular.2. From the perspective of the comprehensive utilization of Rizhao fishermen folk-custom in the development of tourism industry, this thesis systematically analysed the developing actuality and the existing deep-seated problems about Rizhao City's "Happy Fishing" folk-custom tourism. Correspondingly, this thesis put forward some relevant development countermeasures for Rizhao fishermen custom under the new social circumstances.
