A Study On Export And Trade Risk Management Of SME In China

After China's entrance to WTO several years, our export have been growing very quickly. Because of Chinese enterprises have been connected with international enterprises, no matter big or small, all their activities must be obey international conventions and international laws. Our SMEs have more and more chance to deal with foreign enterprises recently years and become much active in international market . They play an important role in our export. However, SMEs faced more problems in the export trade compared with large enterprises. Because of the small scale, lack of export experience, as well as various constraints on macroµ environment, Small and Medium Enterprises lack of strength. The outbreak of the Subprime Mortgage Crisis makes the international market situation become serious. Therefore, a study on the risk of SMEs in exports is in line with the realities of the economic development needs under the new situation.This paper uses some experts' methods and experiences who study the enterprises in certain area. After making definitions for SMEs, Export Trade and Risk, this paper deeply research the developing reality of small & medium size enterprises, and put forward the export risk from the macro and micro point. Finally, against those risks, the corresponding countermeasures are proposed. The first is to improve the macro environment and then required the SMEs to make efforts at the micro environment. To good control of risks that SMEs face in the export trade, and to ensure the sound development of export, we need multi-party efforts. Provided by the Government policy support, financial support provided by the financial institution, industry associations play a role, small and medium-sized take measures ,as well as export insurance transfer risk, five measures work together can control the export risks .
