| With the globalization, information,diversity and variety of the market demand, the competition between enterprises are increasingly fierce. At present, more and more research and practice shows that if the enterprise wants to obtain competitive advantage, they must pay much attention to human resources. Senior managers as astrategic planners and decision makers,which is an important part of their enterprise human resources,and playing a very important role in enterprise management and strategic management. Therefore,which criteria can be used for selecting and cultivating enterprise top managers,is concerned by more and more human resource management scholars and organizational behaviors.This paper tries to combine strategic management theories and competency theory,constructing the competence model of senior managers based on the strategic management perspective.Based on the theoretical of competency research,analysing the characteristics of executive managers, combining with the strategic management theories, recogniting competence character of the top managers, through semi-structured interviews and open primary survey, find the structure of senior managers'competence model in the three phases of the strategic management——the establishment of the strategy,the implementation of the strategy and strategic control and evaluation stage have significant differences among them,summarized the research conclusion under the perspective of executives,indicated clearly to judging the topic,the scene test scores,and make preparation for the next formal questionnaire,based on this,we propose the hypotheses of research , formulate senior management personnel competence questionnaire under the perspective of strategic management,and finally through analysing questionnaire survey datas in factors analysis and reliability and verify test,explore the competence model of senior managers based on the strategic management perspective.Results show that this model is an eight index system, such as:strategic global thinking ability, innovation ability,the decision-making judgment ability,incentive leadership and team coordination ability,pursue outstanding achievement,crisis management consciousness,risk control ability Through the model regression analysis,we found that competences of senior managers in strategic management process are significant positive impact on strategic management performance.This paper is based on a new perspective, study the competence model of enterprise management in-depth, further enrich the competency theory, at the same time,we hope this model can be adopted by the personnel department of enterprise organization,especially head-hunting company,the talent exchange center etc, and providing an objective standard for top managers'selection,training,assessment and evaluation,which has certain directive significance. |
