Lean Production is a very important method to improve the production efficiency and the enterprise core competency. As an upstream of primary products supply chain, food & feed machinery manufacturing enterprises improve their production efficiency, which are helpful to reduce the production cost of downstream enterprises and the price of primary products, and even to improve the people's standard of living.On the basis of analyzing the manufacturing process and current problem in these industries, this paper studies the identification of bottleneck process, performance assessment, production organization mode and continue improve strategy, including the following aspects:First, identification of bottleneck is addressed. The bottleneck process is identified by comparing the loads of process and the work-in-process in the work center. Based on these work, the bottleneck equipment is updated and changed with the newer machine. The production efficiency of single machine is improved greatly by this method.Second, release method of lean production is studied. After analyzing the problem of the production plan, WIP orders and workshop situation, the new release method is used according LP ideas, which aims to reduce the inventory and WIP, and arrange the jobs in a proper way. Since 2005, the company's main production planners try to adopt a new lean production release methods. The new method brings great success. Third, methods of performance evaluation are described. By analyzing the key factors that influences the performance, the company develops a performance assessment standard, which greatly arouses the enthusiasm of the staff. The production efficiency improved significantly.Last but not least, the continuous improvement is addressed, which is an important aspect of Lean Production. The coordinators in CIP sector of BH Company take the lead in the continuous improvement, by processing the personal CIP card and small-scale continuous improvement cards. Many recommendations are taken and implemented quickly, which saves RMB 950,000 for the company.This study focuses on the use of Lean Production problem in the company, which could provide guide for the implementation of Lean Production.
