Research On Lean Production Evaluation System Of Small And Medium Sized Enterprises Based On Data Envelopment Analysis

With the continuous development of manufacturing industry in China and the changes in the external economic environment and increased competitive situation, production systems are facing the growing challenge. Lean Production was Rapidly developed and applied in Domestic SMEs.Lean Production originated from Toyota's production System, its objective is to eliminate waste, product in time, improve efficiency, continuous improvement, improve coping capacity the production of more varieties for customers and less bulk products to meet customers individual requirements increasing.At present, many problems are found in production management. Therefore, how to objectively and effectively evaluate the firms which implemented lean production and build series of evaluation systems are the critical problem for the SMEs in Domestic.There are some main aspects in this paper as follows. Firstly, lean production and the development of the lean production evaluation system are introduced briefly in this paper; and then in order to overcome the existing shortcomings of the evaluation criteria which had applied traditional method to evaluate lean production at the present stage, The management entropy is introduced to analysis the most evaluation criteria in the firm, the firm's specialized objective evaluation criteria are screened out, then bring the above criteria as input into the DEA model, calculate the results and analyze the results objectively. It is proved that the practicability, applicability and practicability of DEA Evaluation Model of Lean production based on management entropy screening criteria by analyzing the actual situation of some grinding abrasive firm. And also it is full of certain significance and reference value for the rapid development of domestic SMEs. Lastly, the conclusion and the follow-up research are proposed in this paper.
