The Research On Value Position And Operating Mechanism Of Integrated Information Service Provider

With the drives of technology, markets and customers, the traditional telecommunications industry is transforming from the communications service into the information service industry gradually. Both of the network technology and application services expedite the separation of the network operations and the business. As well, this leads to proliferation and mass of the main value creators in the communication industry. The evolvement of the linear chain-like communications industry to the more complex and larger "communications industry ecosystem" is going on.The process from traditional operator to integrated information service provider brings the changes not only to the operators but also the telecommunication industry. In comparison to other recent papers, this thesis focuses on value position and operating mechanism of integrated information service provider to answer the following three questions, where to go, when to transform and how to be. Therefore, this study has important practical significance and reference value. The first part of the paper analyzes the value chain mode in communications industry from the perspective of business ecosystem, builds the value net model and gives the strategy selections for communications enterprise in the business ecosystem. In general, companies should regard themselves as one part of ecosystem and make their strategic choice and cooperation model from the perspective of ecosystem. This will benefit the development and the value creation of communications business ecosystem.In the second part I make the judgment and evaluation on the time selection for the telecom operators based on the Enterprise Life Cycle Model. Only when the enterprise is in the late maturity or decline period, it will implement the transition strategy and enter the rehabilitation period. That means it enters into the next life cycle in order to achieve the sustainable development of enterprises.Finally, this thesis makes an in-depth research on the industrial organization model, collaborative model of industry, cooperation models and business operation model from the four aspects in operating mechanism of integrated information service provider.
