The Research Of Construction Project Life Cycle Cost Management Information Service System

Globalization and information age become obvious, the construction industry, as a tradictional industry in our country, will meet great challenges. So how can we improve the application of information technology in the construction project cost management has become a problem we have to solve. As one of the three cost management system in construction project, construction project life cost management can not be spreaded and applied.Life Cycle Cost Management in construction project has been proved to be appliable theoretically, but in practice there exist three obstacles: 1.there is no clear definition of the buyers and sellers of the construction products; 2. it lacks in motivation policies in the minimum cost structure; 3. the greatest obstacle is that there is no reliable, useful, unified data and specific information service system and administration. Even if there are some data, they are not unified, so can not be applied in life circle cost management (LCCM) . Therefore, how can we develop a information service system in LCCM is the most important part to solve the problems.The paper analyzes the present research situations at home and abroad, points out that the defects in LCCM theories, and claims that it is necessary to develop a whole information service system, only by integrating and benchmarking can it be the guidelines in information service system of LCCM. There are 7 parts in the paper:The first part is the introduction of research literature summary at home and abroad, and the meaning, purpose and plan of the research.The second part is the summary of research literatures, and points out the problems in it.The third part is the construction of information service system in LCCM.The forth part is collecting and handling information before LCCM.The fifth part is information integration platform in LCCM, and how to construct an integrated life circle cost data base and an integrated management of cost information.The sixth part is the application of cost information service system in LCCM, and how to construct a benchmarking data base,then make decision by it.The seventh part is case analysis,taking the bridge project as example, analyzes how to collect life circle cost information and information handling, and selects the plans by benchmarking data.
