| With the 3G technology in the widely used around the world, the business of telecom industry gradually has changed from the provision of traditional voice to data services, to get these new growth markets, the world's major operators began a difficult transition. At the same time, traditional communications equipment providers also need to make appropriate adjustments for responding the demands of new growth markets.The new growth markets is not only the traditional voice on the development of value-added services, but also could be a 3G broadband access, or an extension of the internet telecom business, etc. In this paper, The first chapter recalls the history of the development of global telecommunications, so as to understand the telecommunications industry, as well as the new development trend of telecommunications market, pointing out that the importance the new growth markets for the telecommunications industry, and then in the second chapter analysis on impact of telecommunication market changes on telecommunications operators and equipment providers. Chapters III mainly research what kind of strategy (business layer) should the telecom equipment providers deal with in the new growth markets, through customer segment and telecom ecosystem analysis. Based on the analysis of the results of the first three chapters, Chapter IV of this article focused on the strategic of telecommunications equipment providers and how to develop the strategic objectives, direction and execution plan. Finally, Chapter V of this article sums up the basic point of view, the main innovation as well as related limitations and weakness. |
