In this paper, the inventory model of ERP has been singled out to be the studying target.First, the development of ERP and the impact of inventory management have been introduced. Then the realistic value of ERP inventory model has been concentrated on. Based on that, with examples, optimizing inventory, getting better inventory model, reducing the inventory quantity and lowering inventory funds. So it is good to enterprise economic. The main researches contain two parts. Firstly, building the inventory control model about continuous stable requirement. Considering the relevant requirements and a certain extent risk out of stock on the traditional EOQ model, then adopting statistical methods, at last, advancing the ERP inventory model which subjects to the Normal. Besides it, on the basis of this model, determining the safety stock which can be consumed and not, reasonable point of order, quantity of order and time of order, Secondly, building the inventory control model about discrete random variable requirement. Evolution the traditional Newsboy, taking into the conversion of raw materials and products costs, then advancing the ERP inventory model which subjects to discrete random variable requirement, on the basis of this model, determining the right production and safety stock. What's more, prove it's right by comparing JIT method. Finally, put forword right performance management for the two models.Hope to give some advice to enterprises when it decides the inventory.
