SNS (social network service) is a new type of social software appeared in recent years. The emergence of SNS overcomes the barriers between Anonymous exchanges, brings the real interpersonal relationships to internet, and constructs the concept of on-line community. As a result, it conducts a new revolution of online Communication. Wilburlang Schramm, the comprehensive synthesist in communication field, said: There is no communication, there is no community; and vice versa. American political scientist Robert Putnam pointed out that community is crucial to people's social capital: communication is a key premise to bring and retain social capital in community. Thus, it can be seen that communication, community and social capital are interrelated concepts. They syncretize with and promote each other.The purpose of this paper, by applying real sample researches, which takes www.xiaonei.com as an example, is to scientifically and precisely describe and reasonably analyze the interrelationship in social networking and the control of social capital reflected by the degree of interrelationship of domestic University students.The main research method of this paper is Quantitative Analysis. After randomly selecting samples, statistical methods such as factor analysis are introduced to design measure scale to measure the degree of interrelationship theory refer to previous researches. Using statistics software, such as Visualization Technique, to analyze and judge correlation of the degree of interrelationship and the condition of social capital controlling. Finally makes the research findings legible.This paper consists of 5 chapters: Chapter1 tells the origin, objective, question, and the innovation of the research; Chapter2 introduces the theory that SNS is based on, the emergence, origin and application of online interpersonal relationships theory. Then organizes social capital theory and the measurement of social capital, hereby design survey; Chapter3 discusses the methods of this research; Chapter4 lists data analysis; and Chapter5 gives the results and suggestions of this research.The research finds out: the time period of the campus internet users who are online is irrelevant to the degree of interrelationship. However, it is relevant between the frequency of sign-in and the degree of interrelationship. Besides, users who have more personal interaction are going to have more frequent visit, more feedbacks, longer time of browsing, and more frequent use of emails to communicate. They have wider social networks, more social trusts, and more enthusiasm to participate in social activities, as well as their own sense of identity and satisfaction are higher than others.The research strictly complies with scientific and precise principle from data collection to data analysis. The crude data and research achievements can be referred by researches later.
