China has taken place very great changes in the 20th century finally several years. It is regarded as one of the most noticeable phenomenon that a large amount of peasants flow to the cities. With the reform of the planned economic system and becoming flexible of traditional household register system, the surplus rural labor force who was once fettered on the earth began to break away from land and flew to urban. The influence that this kind of phenomenon brings to Chinese society is extensive and far-reaching, the phenomenon of rural labor mobility has attracted the concern of a large number of domestic and international researchers. The economist and sociologist have done many studies on labor migration at present from different visual angles.Up to now,, the numerous research both at home and abroad have already involved every aspect of the rural labor flow, among them we regard studying law, model, function on economic development and factors that influence population mobility as the focal points. In these factors, the social capital produces deep influence on the rural labor mobility.In fact, because of the influence of imperfect market economic system and traditional culture, rural labor force utilize social capital in the form of social relationships to choose a job. Through doing this, they can save the cost, increase incomes. It is not only meeting reality's needs but also having certain theories supported to put rural labor mobility under visual angle of the social capital to analyze. Through using empirical survey and setting up the relevant models, we have carried on some research and discussion to analyze the functions that the social capital influences the rural labor mobility. The result shows: The social capital is having important influence on flow of the rural laborer. So, it seems very much essential through various methods to invest and accumulate social capital.Certainly, the social capital is not the only factor influencing the rural labor mobility, but if give up this factor, the analysis and studying to the rural labor mobility must be pale and weak.
