Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Development Of Industrial Integration

After undergoing industry geographic concentration and specialized industry clusters recently, the regional industry of China has initially stepped into the stage of development of industrial integration.Industrial integration is the "second incubation"based on industry clusters, which is not only structural adjustment of industry clusters, but also a kind of industrial organization innovation. Industrial integration realizes upgrading of the structure of cluster by changing its structure and join method of main body of clusters. The development of integation makes the enterprises, banks and research institutions in clusters no longer isolated individuals, but rather an integral part of the integrated system, they are in an integrated way, throughing cooperation, communication and collaboration to achieve improving the efficiency of collective action. Although there's a trend of integration of part of the clusters in China, the phenomenon of industrial integration is not entirely clear, and the problems exist in the distribution of industrial organization and development of industrial operation are outstanding, either as a performance of characteristic of industrial organizational structure, or as an embodiment of elements operation mechanism and process of internal and inter-industry. How to improve the degree of integration is the important theoretical issue needs to be solved.Finding out the essence of industrial integration is the key to solving above-mentioned problem. That is making it clear that what is industrial integration? What is the difference between industrial integration and industry cluster? At the same time, as industial integation is the result of multiple factors, therefore it needs to find out which factors influence the development of industrial integration? Of these factors which has played a positive role, and which has played a negative role? And which is the critical impact factors? These are the issues of common concern of scholars and policy-makers. Answering and solving these problems is the purpose of this paper.In this paper, firstly the essence and process of industrial integration are analysed by Integration Theory, Uncertainty Idea, Competitive Advantage Theory, and Evolutionary Theory, then the factors influcing the industrial integration are identified,and then the relationship of these factors is studied by building an Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). On this basis, we take the enterprises in cluster as the object investigation, and measure the factors that affect the level of industrial integration through questionnaires survey, then combining with statistical analysis methods, we analyse the effects of each factor on the integrated development comprehensively. Finally, we put forward several suggestions to the future development of industry integration based on paper conclusions. This paper has practical significances on guiding industry cluster transfer to industrial integration and cultivating industry integration with international competition. At the same time, the paper provides basis for industry cluster companies choosing to become industrial integration or not.
