Research On Demand Influencing Factors Of Elderly Care Insurance

A serious of aging problems appeare when China enters into the aging society, which have been paid much more attention. With the receding speed of population's increase, it becomes more obvious that the family size turns to be smaller and smaller, superadding that the fee-for-service still on the high level, as well as the limit of social security. All those reasons above make people feel worried about their senectitude. Especially to the old people, who are more able to be sick, need to accept long-term caring or service, when the medical technology level gets better and the people sufferring from acute disease's shape transforms into chronic illness. Along with living standard enhancement, the demand market of elderly care insurance system in China is huge.Through the introduce of elderly care insurance system, this paper compares two kinds of system to put forward their respective developing experience so that we can make use of them. One is the USA on behalf of commercial nature, and the other is Japan on behalf of social nature, and then makes theoretic and real demand analysis according to China' s demand market of elderly care insurance system. With focus on the empirical study of Dalian demand market of elderly care insurance system, the paper trys to explore whether the demand market exists and what kinds of factors lead to the demand.On the basis of literature review, theoretic factors are established, according to which to exploit questionnaire, and then make empirical research. The results indicates that healthy, economy, society and concept are the factors that influence the demand of elderly care insurance system. While the demography factor does not make such obvious influence. The findings also further proved that the real demand of elderly care insurance system is huge. Owing to the elderly care insurance system just appeared as an insurance product in our country, the final system pattern suited our national condition is still in the discussion. Therefore this paper will provide certain reference to our country about how to establish elderly care insurance system, and in the system design's process, these influencing factors need to be paid attention and to be considered.
