Since the reform of the land use system started in later of 1980's in China, land, as an important asset in the marketing economy, is playing a very significant role in the process of Chinese social and economic development. However, to a certain extent, the discrepancy of Chinese regional economy development results in the growth degree discrepancy of Chinese land market, and hence causes a series of social and economic problems. This thesis is presented based on this background. According to objectively analysis the difference degree of growth degree of Chinese land market, attempt to make a reasonable explanation to the cause of discrepancy and hence provide policy reference and basis for correctly guiding and improving Chinese land market.This thesis has over 50000 characters, besides the concluding remark, altogether divided into five chapters:the first part is preface, mainly introducing the background of writing the article and the features of the study, drawing lessons from the foundation of the domestic and international research result, thoroughly study on land transfer market. In chapter two, the theories about land market being applied into this study are reviewed. At the same time, summary a general statement about the development of Chinese land transfer market. In chapter three, data and methods used in this study are discussed. The data indices conclude the number of transferred land, transferred land area and land transfer fee. Meantime, after having an objective analysis on the existing methods for measuring discrepancy, we select the Theil indices as a main method to have an analysis on the spatial and temporal characteristics of the discrepancy of Chinese remising-land market growth degree. Chapter four is the most important part of this thesis, based on a hierarchical structure of three-level measurement, then, apply the Theil index to have an in-depth analysis and investigation on discrepancy of Chinese land transfer market growth degree by dividing the calculated Theil regional discrepancy index into three components: among-regional, among-province and within-province discrepancy. In chapter five. First, we analysis how the discrepancy of Chinese land transfer market growth degree formed dynamically. Finally, we propose some tactics for promoting the land transfer market develop coordinately. In Chapter six, it is the concluding remark and disadvantage of this thesis.
