The development of shopping malls is growing rapidly and spreading out like a wild wind in China, but resulting from the lack of knowledge in early stage of development and subsequent operation, insufficient managerial experiences of the developer, many shopping malls failed and eventually closed down in quite a few cities.Currently there is not much academic study or theory relevant available, especially addressed to the issues arising from later stage of shopping mall development and leasing management after the malls are put into operation in China.Thesis with leasing affair as study background, uses a case study method, combining theory with practice, and sum up experience from practice using relevant theories in management. Starting from the real cases of the researched project, it aims to find and analyze problems, put forward practice-oriented solutions in order to solve practical problems, improve leasing management level of researched project so that operational errors and cost will be minimized, project benefits can be increased, and hope to operation and management of shopping mall resolve similar problems to supply of a good reference.This paper consists of four parts:Part 1 asks questions, explains the significance of study, researching methods and researching routes.Part 2 overview of the researched project, describe problems in leasing management.Part 3 reviews of relevant management theory and analyze the cause of the problems.Part 4 using relevant management theory puts problem-solving strategies and innovation in management thinking.
