China Mobile and Tietong corporation Xiamen branch is an emerging communication operation conpany. In the rapidly changing communication market , the development of China Tietong company Xiamen branch, has the the rare opportunity because of the development of Western Shore Economic Zone and as well as the challenges of dropping in fixed-line business.In the new situation, how to develop practical competitive strategies to enhance comprehensive competition and how to maintain continuous and healthy development of China Mobile Tietong corporation Xiamen branch, whic is a very worthwhile research topic.In this paper , the author uses the comparative advantage theory and competitive strategy theory to do deep study on the development status and market competition situation of Xiamen Branch. By using the SWOT theory , the author summarizs the facing opportunities and challenges , and gets the advantages and disadvantages of Xiamen branch . Then by using the modern enterprise competitive strategy analying tools, the author detailedly analyzes some respects such as price, brand and service quality , and then gets the conclusion that Xiamen branch can create a relatively comparative advantage in the absolutely disadvantageous situation. Finally , the author raised three specific competitive strategies for the telecommunication market in Xiamen, namely to create a comparative advantage and apply the price, brand, service quality as the competitive strategy.
