The paper mainly studies the relationship between motivation factors and voice behavior, and the moderating role of the four types of role perception. There are three stages in this paper. First of all, the author proposed a basic theoretical model and hypothesis through literature review. Secondly, data were collected from 207 employees using questionnaires. The data had been analyzed by the software of SPSS 16.0. Finally, the results from data analysis were discussed and the hypotheses were largely supported. The main results were showed as follows:(1) The two-dimensional structure and scale of voice behavior are valid in the sample of this study. Voice behavior includes promotive behavior and prohibitive behavior.(2) Prosocial value, organization concern and impression management motivation are significantly related to voice behavior. Prosicial value and impression management motivation are better predictors of prohibitive voice. Organization concern and impression management motive are better predictors of promotive voice.(3) The four types of role perception - role breadth perception, role instrumentality perception, role efficacy perception and role discretion perception - are positively related to voice behavior.(4) The hypotheses that role perception has moderating effect are supported: role perception moderates the relationship between prosocial value, organization concern and voice behavior. At the end, the paper discussed research findings and also pointed out the theoretical meaning, practical meaning and disadvantages of the research and then put forward to the future research at last.
