During the process of reform and economic development, we have benefited a lot from the foreign advanced management experience. However, we can also find some "unadjusted symptoms" when we are trying to spread the advanced experience in our country. Fortunately, many specialists have realized that the culture will have impact on the effectiveness of the management pattern and experience now. So if we want to explore the new management pattern which is based on the foreign advanced experience, we must take the Chinese culture into account. We are now in an era of knowledge economy, and the knowledge-sharing is the critical factor in corporate innovation, so we focus our research on the culture effects on the knowledge-sharing in the company is of high importance. There are a range of characteristics which can stand for our Chinese culture, especially the trend of collectivism and long-term orientation, so we decide to use these two factors to elaborate the influences they have had on the desire of the employees to share their knowledge. There are three parts in this essay: the first part is literature review and we put forward the theoretical model and the related research hypothesis based on it; the second part is the questionnaire research which were given to the companies of knowledge-intensive; the third part is data analysis and research conclusions. From the quantitative point of statistical software, we have reached the following conclusions through reclaiming 366 effective questionnaires:1. Collectivism inclination has a positive effect on the affective commitment and normative commitment, and has a significantly negative effect on the continuance commitment.2. Long-term orientation has a positive influence on the affective commitment while its two dimensions have different impacts on the continuance commitment and normative commitment. The dimension of "respect the tradition" has a positive relationship with the normative commitment while has nothing to do with the continuance commitment. The dimension of "long-term planning" has a negative effect on continuance commitment and has no effect on normative commitment.3. The higher the affective commitment and normative commitment of the employees, the more likely they will share their knowledge with their fellows; the higher the continuance commitment of the employees, the less likely they will share their knowledge. In all, this research paper can be seen as a exploratory study in this field, and the conclusions we have reached will not only rich the theories of culture research, organizational commitment and knowledge-sharing, but also can give some valuable theoretical suggestions for the knowledge-intensive companies.
