Empirical Study To The Effect Of Export On Economy Growth In Middle Region Of China

Since the reform and opening up, China's economy has scored glorious achievements, being the economy leader in Asia even in the world. Consumption and investment and export are the three major factors to push economy forward, while export has become the engine of Chinese economy growth since 1990. After the strategy of "the upsurge of the middle region of China", the economic development of the middle region is highly focused by experts in academic circle. As one of three carriages, which push economy forward, to develop export is an inevitable choice for the middle region.However, the middle region falls behind the country's average level both in export and economic development level. The differences on the level of export and economic development and the relationships between export and economy growth in the six provinces, the gap between the middle region and the eastern region in both export and economy development, the relationships between export and economy growth in both middle region and eastern region, all of these are worth studying. Only by finding out the cause for the gap can we suit the remedy to the case. To analyze the cause for the gap, and to put forward the policies of developing export in the middle region are the problems to be solved in this paper.Although there are so many studies on the relationship between export and economy growth both home and abroad, the studies are mainly focused on the relationship between export and economy growth either in the whole country or in single province. There are relatively fewer studies on relationship of export on economy growth in middle region of China. This paper not only makes empirical studies on the relationship between export and economy growth of six provinces in central part of China by panel data, but also makes empirical analysis on relationship of export and economy growth in both central and eastern part of China by error correction model. Through partial and whole analysis, this paper dissects the problems existed in export and economy development in middle region. This paper firstly introduces the mechanisms of export affecting economy growth; secondly analyzes the present situation of export and economy growth, including the descriptions of the present situation and empirical analysis on the relationship of export and economy growth; thirdly makes comparative analysis on export and economy growth, including descriptions of differences on export and economy growth between central and eastern regions, and empirical studies on export and economy growth in these two regions; in the end, based on above theoretic and empirical analysis, puts forward the police advices on quickening the development of export and pushing economy forward.
