The Research On The Risk Of Business Interruption In Manufacturing Enterprises

The accident loss is increasing along with progressing technology and developing society. What cannot be neglected is the rate of indirect economy loss caused by accidents is increasing year after year. The greatest indirect economy loss is business interruption loss, which shall be regarded and researched by enterprises.Starting from risk point of view, this paper focuses on business interruption risk caused by natural disasters, accidents and supply halt of suppliers by research on manufacture enterprises, and firstly it briefly analyzes the main reasons making manufacture enterprises meet business interruption risk. Secondly, by making use of fuzzy mathematical fundamentals to work out the probability of business interruption and then the probability of business interruption of enterprises can be figured out. On the other hand, the paper generally evaluates the business interruption risk meeting by enterprises by starting from connection between the different effects caused by accidents to product line of enterprises and product line arrangement to establish the structural mode of product line as well as by accurately working out the business interruption loss caused by the above three reasons with tree diagram. Meanwhile, this paper gives an intuitive and clear description on business interruption risk and it will be beneficial for enterprises to perform a safety investment and management on product system operation.In the end, the paper validates the maneuverability and feasibility of the evaluation thinking through examples which are about the application of models established.
