Research On Space-Temporal Differentiation Law And Optimization Development Of Shanghai Suburban Tourism

Shanghai 2010, a time when tourism development plan of shanghai during the "Eleventh Five-year" fully completed and the key time of tourism development planning during the "Twelfth Five-year" to start in Shanghai, urban tourism development will enter a new stage. China's holiday economy continues to boom, the public demand for leisure travel continuous growing, and the Shanghai suburban tourism development in such a background to become the focus of attention of various parties. This paper selected the most representative of China suburban area as an international city study, with Shanghai suburban tourism development stage of the axis of time, combined with questionnaire surveys, and GIS spatial analysis techniques. Analysis and forecasting spatial and temporal variation law, temporal evolution law and temporal development law of Shanghai suburbs tourism, concludes Shanghai hub and spoke network optimization suburban layout of the program.In this thesis, GIS is used to represent tourism spatial elements in suburbs of Shanghai, and some statistical and measured methods of spatial data are used to analysis characteristics of spatial distribution in different stages of suburban tourism in the city quantitatively, such as the nearest neighbor point index, the Gini coefficient, the average distance from the city center, radius of gyration, and the spatial distribution curve. Based on the law of spatial and temporal variation in various stages, spatial evolution laws of the city's suburban tourism are summarized as follows: 1) the spatial distribution of suburbs tourism in Shanghai evolves from discrete type initially to cohesive type at present, and balance of spatial distribution is rising continuously. 2) Urban tourism space presents a basic law that: outer expansion appears in the middle suburbsâ†'cohesion in the inner suburbs + outer expansion in the middle and outer suburbsâ†'outer suburbs expansion. 3) The density center of tourism destinations of Shanghai develops in central-north areas firstly, and the center moves from north to south and from inland areas to costal region after the suburbs tourism starting; 4) In the Shanghai suburban tourism development process, the sports and leisure, holiday resort and other experiential destinations is becoming the mainstream, and the functions structure of tourism resources of the entire suburban region tends to be more reasonable.Meanwhile, following basic evolution laws of suburban tourism in Shanghai, combined with the development of six important factors composed of economy, transportation, resources, market, policy, events, it is considered that the coastal region, Songjiang district which has large-scale theme park and the Pudong district which will introduce Disneyland are the focus areas of suburban tourism in Shanghai. With the rising of south-eastern region, the development pattern of Shanghai suburban tourism which shows as a multi-center network will come into being soon.Finally, to highlight the characteristics of resources, optimizing the overall function, adapt to market and policy guidance, and implement the basic principles, construct the axis - spoke network structure of Shanghai suburbs tourism, which conclude three main sections, five main tourism functional area(eleven theme tourism regions and thirteen Extended theme tourism regions).
