Therefore, we contemporary people have responsibility to protect the precious cultural heritage.However, because our cultural heritage preservation institutions are not sophisticated, the related law system is not sound, the protection techniques are not very advanced and the protection measures are ineffective, our ancient villages are encountering serious breakage. Especially since the mew rural communities construction and rural tourism develop prosperously, some places ignore the regional features and cultural tradition, devoting exclusive attention to fashion and foreign favors blindly; Some places neglect the rural and folk characteristics, favoring to intensifying the restructuring; Some places place undue emphasis on economic benefits and pay more attention to exploitation than to preservation. Therefore, in this article I try to analyze the prototypes of northern ancient villages-Zhu jia yu's cultural connotations and the significance of preservation, the current situation and its experience, summarize the principles to abide and measures to adopt in the progress of ancient village preservation, providing reference for our nation's ancient village preservation.
