| Based on functional orientation of the capital, Jingmei Group formulated the development strategy of industrial structure adjustment, and moving the coal and electric industry elsewhere. This paper analyzes the macro-environment of China's power companies and conducted SWOT analysis of Jingmei Group's diversified investment in Jinghai Power Plant Project. The author believes this project complies with the corporate development strategy of expanding main business, adjusting structure to become more influential and larger, as well as construct new national strategic energy base of Inner Mongolia autonomous region. However, faced with market-oriented coal resources, monopoly power grid enterprises and enterprise groups, strong competition in power generation and coal-house low level of investment and financing and other issues, of which coal resources are the major risks. Suggested further optimal strategic measures to implement coal-electricity joint operation and realize the steady healthy development of companies. This has guiding meaning to the coal enterprises investing in electricity. |
