Central Asia is an important energy region for China. Import of Central Asian oil and oil products is promoting to reduce the lack of oil supply and demand contradiction in China; and at the same time, oil production investment and active business participation of China in Central Asia is profitable for China's economy. Kazakhstan is one of the Central Asia's most important oil suppliers, China also have active trade cooperation with Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, nowadays, Central Asia become one of the most convenient, safe and stable oil suppliers.Kazakhstan is the largest country in Central Asia and also the biggest oil producer country in the region. Kazakhstan's oil export capacity is very big. Due to forecast indication, in 2010-2020 China's oil production will make 1.56-1.87 m. tons, and 1.35-2.20 m. tons, while China's oil demand will be 100 m. tons respectively 3.35-3.68 and 4.30-5.50 m. tons, so, supply and demand gap will be very large. Thus, Kazakhstan's oil export capacity and oil co-operation will make up a solid foundation in China's huge oil consumption gap.Kazakhstan is rich with oil resources, its economy is stable, and cooperation with China is significant. In order to achieve national economies interconnection, two countries can promote mutual economic development cooperation, and due to Kazakhstan and Xinjiang border line cooperation, in the Kazakhstan oil pipeline project China's Xinjiang will become oil depot centre, very important for local oil demand, to promote region industry development and significant for the development of China.
