| In the background of global economic integration and regional economic integration, and with the implementation of western development strategy, cooperation and competition among regions coexist. Compared with the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Lanzhou-baiyin metropolitan area which is in the cultivation stage, the industry position is not clear enough and economic development is still relatively slow. Therefore, it is urgent to use reasonable methods and theories to make attempts for the industrial division and cooperation of Lanzhou-baiyin metropolitan area. It provides some references for the future development of this region.On the basis of the national and international experiences for regional industrial division and cooperation, the author has a detailed analysis about the industrial division and cooperation for major cities of Lanzhou-baiyin metropolitan area. Taking Lanzhou city and Baiyin city as demonstration cases, the article uses quantitative analysis and empirical study to compare this region, explores problems in the industrial division and cooperation, makes some strategies and recommendations for the region development. And then promotes optimization and upgrading of industrial structure about Lanzhou city and Baiyin city, to achieve rationalization and upgrading of Lanzhou-baiyin metropolitan area's industrial structure. |
