| Since reforming and opening, the Yangtze River Delta region which hasbecome one of the most dynamic regions in China has realized the rapiddevelopment of economy. With the rapid expansion of the economic scale ofYangtze River Delta region, land, labor and other factors of production costcontinue to increase, some enterprises move the production bases to Anhui, Jiangxiand others central region, the Pan-Yangtze River Delta pattern is formed gradually.As a result of the undeveloped area of economy in Anhui and Jiangxi provinces, itseverely affected the overall development level of Pan Yangtze River delta. How tohave the path choice and play economic benefits better of division and cooperationin the Pan-Yangtze River Delta and to promote the regional competitiveness issolved urgently.Based on the regional division and cooperation evolution of Pan-Yangtze RiverDelta, this paper applies economic basic theories, using the supply-demand curvesto analyze the motivation, mode and formation mechanism of regional division andcooperation. On this basis, we select the industrial location quotient and industrialagglomeration index to calculate the regional division and cooperation space ofPan-Yangtze River Delta. According to the results, the paper presents the space andpath of regional division and cooperation of Pan-Yangtze River Delta.The innovation points of this paper, from the economics theories, are applyingthe supply-demand curves to analyze the inner mechanism of regional division andcooperation in Pan-Yangtze River Delta deeply. The paper carries on the thoroughanalysis of the subjective and objective motive power, the contradiction betweencollective and individual interests, regional competition advantage, that makes theregional cooperation practice of Pan-Yangtze River Delta more scientific andrational basis. But because of the limited data, this research only involves theregion division and cooperation of industry, the first and the third industry isn’tmentioned. |
