"Tima" is the interpretation of "Ti" for the respect, "Ma" for the people in Chinese. "Tima" means the people who do the worship,and also refer to the original religion of witches and wizards of Tujia nationality. Tima ceremony describe the origin, proliferation, war, migration, exploiting the boundary, to live and work, production, and many other elements of Tujia, known as the "national epic" of the Tujia."This paper attempts to find out some issues through investigation:How the folk activities of Tima change during today's rapid economic development and social radical changes. The author try to describe varied representation of Tima folk culture in different cultural environmen, and through it to refraction cultural identity of Tujia and the spiritual values out of the current reconstruction, thus deepening the understanding of traditional cultural changes.First,this paper illuminate from the ritual activities of Pengji Long's "playing Bodhisattva ", then followed the analysis of the change of Pengji Long's "playing Bodhisattva", respectively through three aspects of the traditional culture of Tujia and social change, "playing Bodhisattva " trending toward traveling show, the evolution of "playing Bodhisattva" ceremonies in traveling show, to indicate Pengji Long is trending towards traveling shows, which highlights a new era, and play a underestimated role in passing the folk culture heritage.This article is based on field survey of ShuangPing Village to point out that it has been made a considerable change in the socio-economic, ideological, lifestyle, production structure and many other aspects. These changes will certainly affect the continuity and development of Tima cultural.Finally, the author of this paper to discuss and analyze the reason of the Tima folk culture's change,and consider that the changes of Tima cultural in ShuangPing Village is an adaptation process which is taking the external forces as the main driving force,and this process requires that we needed to build new folk culture and integrate the diversity of folk culture.
