Research On Institutional Change And Urban Spatial Structure Reconstruction

Urban spatial structure is the projection in the geographical space of the urban function organization, which is the comprehensive reaction of the city's politics, economic, society and cultural life, natural conditions and the structure of space engineering, and the spatial organization of architectural construction. The process of urban development shows that the city's various economic activities is ultimately implemented in space. Many countries around the globe have experienced dramatic institution changes since 1990s, with China as the representative of the socialist countries in transition has aroused wide concern from international scholars. Urban spatial structure is the spatial projection of the urban social and economic development, which is bound to be recognized in the deep level of institution change.Suzhou is the leading and demonstration zone of the Chinese reform and open up. Since the 80s, from "Sunan model" to "phoenix nirvana" after the "new southern Jiangsu model", Suzhou, with its unique industrialization and urbanization, develop the path out of the subject of world attention, "Suzhou Road". However, we note that many previous analysis and understanding of the road to development in Suzhou urban spatial structure analysis and understanding is mainly carried out following the material and economic context, as the impact of urban spatial structure, the other main factors - institutional factors are not given adequate attention, which is a pity to accelerate the economic development of Suzhou, the optimization of spatial structure in terms of both bilateral.The research ideas of this article is from theory to empirical, a few basic concepts, urban internal spatial structure reconstruction, institutional change, is discussed firstly, and then the domestic and foreign theoretical research on urban internal spatial structure is summarized. The empirical part is settled to Suzhou, mainly discusses the institutional changes of the Suzhou City, the influence of institutional change over urban spatial structure and the current problems in urban spatial structure of Suzhou are mainly discussed, optimization strategies are proposed finally.
