With China's rapid sustained and rapid economic development and people's rising living standards, automobile consumption expands rapidly, which raises increasing demand for automobile logistics. Under current conditions, automobile logistics in bulk transportation vehicle tends to be more water, and the particularity of automotive logistics improves the diversified development of the port,and diversified development of integrated logistics needs to build specialized automobile ro/ro wharf. Based on this, according to the automotive logistics problems and development this article studies automobile logistics platform about ro/ro terminal combined with port workers, information technology, computer technology and other fields of knowledge.Firstly, this paper learned that the development of automobile ro/ro logistics transportation is fast, although it started late after read and sort out the development status of domestic and abroad automobile ro/ro wharf and port ro/ro operations status. From the perspective of logistics services structure, automobile ro/ro logistics services in China benefits mainly from fundamental services,and "door to door" delivery service which is based on customized service requirements for the vehicle, and auto parts distribution and other value-added service are still very weak.Secondly, this paper puts forward to the concept and features of automobile ro/ro logistics,then analyzes the demand of it based on the analysis of the automotive logistics problems. This paper summarizes the port's position in the automotive logistics performance. Water transport is the development trend of automotive logistics and transport, and port is an important part of vehicle logistics chain. Above this, this paper elaborats on China's automobile ro/ro logistics development strategy and development priorities.Thirdly, summed up the Functional Division program and the factors should be considered of the general ro/ro wharf, and proposed proposal of the layout plans ro/ro car wharf. Designed standard handling technological process of ro/ro car wharf and process points of implementation of the loading and unloading operations for ro/ro car wharf. Planned the component of ro/ro wharf value-added services car-centered, including VPC center,PDI detection and vehicle inspection lines.Finally, analysised the necessity of car ro/ro logistics information and the requirement of logistics information platform from the range of services and basic functions, designed the system flow of car ro/ro logistics platform, described the feasibility of building the logistics information platform, summarized the system design principles, designed of information systems platform architecture, and made the detailed design of the information platform of database, interface, interface to complete of B/S structure of system implementation.The results and innovation of the study:established of automobile ro/ro wharf based on integrated logistics services and the terminal basic infrastructure facilities of the operating process guidelines, created a roll on roll off terminal diversified one-stop logistics service mode port, designed and implemented based on ro/ro wharf model vehicle logistics information service platform.This program is supported by National Key Technology R&D Program" modern port logistics services demonstration project" (2006BAH02A17).
