The Comparative Research On Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System Assessment Method

In the past decades, as a new management information system, the enterprise competitive intelligence system plays an important part in enterprise's informationization,then how to measure the advantage that competitive intelligence system gives, in another words, how to evaluate the performance of competitive intelligence system is becoming a problem that need resolved. At present, the assessment theory is widely used all around our society, but face with a lot of assessment methods, which one to choose is the most availability that pressing needs, the paper is just starting with this point, by summarizing the achievements in the multiple objective comprehensive evaluation theory research as well as its application during the past decades, compare with the generic assessment method, introduce a reliable and feasible method to evaluate competitive intelligence system.In particular, the paper was divided into six chapters.The first chapter of the article outlined the background, the current research at home and abroad, includes the current research on competitive intelligence system and information system assessment theory, and content, the research methods and innovation.The second chapter deals with enterprise competitive intelligence system, by introducing the meaning, the working flow, the function and the running pattern of enterprise competitive intelligence system, analyze the performance of enterprise competitive intelligence system. The third chapter represents the comprehensive evaluation theory, includes the meaning, the feature, the classification and the basic flow of assessment theory. The fourth chapter is the key points of the paper, starts with the generic assessment method, by outlining six comprehensive evaluation methods:expert evaluation, delphi method, the analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy evaluation method grey evaluation method, data envelopment analysis, compare with the statistics, the theory maturity, the theory applicability, the theory advantage and disadvantage, analyze the problem in assessment method and put forward the improvement method on assessment method.Then in the fifth chapter introduce a grey and fuzzy evaluation method based on the expert reliability, represent the principle and application process of the method, and take a high-tech company's competitive intelligence system in Taiyuan for example, according to the basic flow of assessment theory, use this method to evaluate, analyze the result and find the disadvantage of competitive intelligence system.The sixth chapter of the article describes the problem in the assessment theory on enterprise competitive intelligence system and introduces improvement method. The seventh chapter gives conclusion and states the deficiency of the paper.
