The Actuality And Countermeasures Of Modern Service Industry In Shanxi Province

Since the late 70s of last century, the rapid development of knowledge-based economy has promoted the world's leading industry transformation from manufacturing-oriented to service-oriented. The emergence and growth of modern service industry are accompanied by the development of information technology and information industry. Its status in economic system of the country or region has been advanced rapidly. Highly developed modern service industry has been the mark to measure the level of economic and social modernization.The modern service industry in Shanxi province is lagging far behind the developed regions.While the traditional coal-driven industrial structure can not meet the requirements of sustainable economic development. We need put the focuses on developing information services, financial services, real estate,education and business services of modern service industry which have strong impacts on Shanxi economy. Moreover, we should search for breakthroughs on the institutions, mechanisms and policies innovation, and create a good environment for the development of modern service industry.
