In recent years, wind power generation developed rapidly in the world because of its characteristics of clean and renewable. As wind power generation is random, it needs to absorb a lot of reactive power when working. So as the wind power installed capacity increases, it impact power grid is more serious. As reactive power is an important factor to guarantee the system security and stability, it has always been ignored. With the deepening of electric power system reform in our country, the key to reflect the value of reactive power and recover cost is to make reasonable reactive power price in electric power market. Based on above, I researched the reactive power pricing method in this paper.Firstly, I summarized and concluded the existing domestic and foreign research results of pricing theory and the power flow calculation in view of wind power. Combined with the current reactive developed situation of our country electric power market, I choose the method of composite operational cost sharing as the theoretical basis in this paper. Then I analyzed the cost of generators and reactive power compensation equipment in the system, established the calculation model. According to introducing and demonstrating power flow tracing principle and method, the downstream flow tracing was been selected as the theoretical basis for determining the coefficient of reactive power cost allocated to each node. Then, I introduced the characteristics of wind generator, its output and the optimal power flow calculation model in detail.Finally, I set the cost of generators and reactive power compensation equipments in the system as the objective function, calculated optimal power flow by simulating wind power generator output based on Monte Carlo. Then I analyzed each reactive load source of reactive power based the optimal power flow results, shared the reactive power cost to each code reasonably. As the example of, I verified the correctness and effectiveness of the reactive power pricing model I proposed.
