The Research On Bearing Industrial Cluster Of Wafangdian City In The Perspective Of Evolutionary Economics

Industrial cluster is a distingctive regional economic organizations phenomenon. Though mutual cooperation and exchange among the enterprise in the cluster, it not only makes economy of scale and scope benefits yield well, but also drives region and the entire countery's development by knowledge spillover. The difference of region economic development and its speed has been largely due to inclustrial cluster, so mang countries began to use industial cluster as a tool of economic policy. However, in practice some industrial cluster made by government subjectively have begun to decline before the cluster are fully mature. Therefore, it is guiding significance for better construction industry cluster to promote regional and national economic development that studying the rules and characteristics in the formation and evolution of industrial cluster.After 80 years of the 20th century, the defects and crisis has become increasingly evident mainstream economics when mainstream economics explain phenomenon of the economic growth and diffusion broght by technology development. As a school of many challenges of mainsteam economics, evolitonary economics continuous develops and improves its theoretical framework on the basis of the critique of the mainstream economics, not only abandoned the thought of the rational and optimal balance of the mainstream economics, but put forward the hypothesis of historical evolution, path dependence and diversity, and use the genetic mechanism, mutation mechanism and selection mechanism in biology to establish a study framework for analysing dynamic changes of economic system.Using evolutionary economics to study the phenonmenon of industrial cluster, it can find out the "satisfaction" path of cluster evolution better depending on the actual situation and random factors rather than the optimal paths set up in equilibrium. This paper combines theory with practice. Though empirical analysis of the evolutionary history of Wafangdian bearing industrial cluster, it explores the characteristics of Wafangdian bearing industrial cluster in the formation, development, maturity and upgrade phase, the symbiotic relationship between enterprises in cluster and the moumentum factor caused cluster evolution and development. The paper use the number of enterprisies and employment, industial output, enterprisis birth rate and death rate, patent applications number to analyse Wafangdian bearing cluster size, cluster growth capability, enterprise operations and technical upgrade capability, to find out the deciding factor that made Wafangdian bearing industrial cluster become internationally competitive bearing industrial cluster and promote Wafangdian city economic developing. By the development experiences of Wafangdian bearing industrial incluster, the paper finally makes suggestion for revitalize the old industrial base in Northeast China plan.
