China's foreign trade was inevitably affected a serious of negative impacts with the spread of US economy crisis. According to customs statistics, by 2009 three quarters of total foreign trade import and export value of 1.55782 trillion U.S. dollars, Down 20.9% year on year. Exports 846.65 billion U.S. dollars, down 21.3%; imports 711.17 billion U.S. dollars, down 20.4%. Cumulative trade surplus of 135.48 billion U.S. dollars, reduced by 26%.September month, China's foreign trade value of 218.94 billion U.S. dollars, down 10.1%, growth of 14.2%. Import and export both more than 100 billion U.S. dollars. Export value of 115.93 billion U.S. dollars, down 15.2%, growth of 11.8%; imports 103.01 billion U.S. dollars, down 3.5%, growth of 17%. Major trading partner with bilateral trade, the EU's largest trading partner for China, EU bilateral trade value of 260.05 billion U.S. dollars, down 19.4%. Over the same period, the United States for China's second largest trading partner, bilateral trade value was 211.88 billion U.S. dollars, down 15.8%. Japan remains the third largest trading partner, the first 3 quarters of Sino-Japanese bilateral trade was 162.22 billion U.S. dollars worth, down 20%. In the central and local governments to match the economic stimulus plan to investment-led economic growth model to help our country gradually out of the shadow of the financial crisis, foreign trade situation has been changed. But in the long run, as the "structural adjustment" policy objectives of the in-depth advance to main hat export labor-intensive industry will be represented by more and more difficult, but the technology-intensive and capital-intensive industries is not an easy set up, will the period export growth will be the emergence of a vacuum period, which will seriously affect the long-term foreign trade situation.This paper, based on the overall development of the current world financial crisis, through summarizes the general laws of financial crisis, to analyze the current financial crisis impacts on China's economy and Jilin province's foreign trade. This article takes advantage of some research methods, for example, combining theoretical analysis and demonstration research, qualitative analysis and quantitative research, static analysis and dynamic analysis and so on, to make integrative use of the relevant theories of modem western economics and international trade, have an analysis of the radiation of current financial crisis for Jilin province's foreign trade especially, and then it discusses the developing environment of the whole foreign trade and the developing trend of foreign trade.At last, on the basic of lots of analysis and prediction above, it studies the answering strategy of foreign trade in the future. This paper probes into the opportunities and challenges provided by the financial crisis for Jilin province's foreign trade, and offers some effective measurements to avoid prevent and withstand risks. It offers some elicitation for creating a healthy environment of enterprise's survival and the development, and speeding up the pace of economic development. It analyzes the origins of the problems existed in the development of Jilin province's foreign trade through development status and characteristics of foreign trade in Jilin province.The forth chapter analyzes the major problem existed in the development of Jilin province's foreign trade especially.
