The eco-tourism regions have gradually become the popular spots where tourists are much interested since the booming of the tourism, the accelerating pace of urbanization has been taken place and the "natural," "green," "primitive" eco-tourism became prevalent in recent years. The construction of the environmental interpretation system occupies an essential part of the program and construction of the whole eco-tourism regions. The environmental interpretation system can not only provide information which tourists are consulted, but also can offer the traffic guidance, public services to people who are needed. Moreover, it is also an important method to provide environmental education to visitors, because the dissemination of environmental knowledge would teach tourists environmental skills and help them establishing a correct environmental awareness and values along with the tour. Unfortunately, the research of this system in China is still at its early stage and it lacks the specialized researches, as a result, the environmental education only plays a very limited function. Therefore, this study will combine environmental education theories and the environmental education function, specialize in the researches of the characteristics of eco-tourism in order to build the eco-tourism interpretation system. This essay will respectively represent the different commentary and medium to the four functional eco-tourism areas:the core area-the buffer area-the active area-the community construction. Besides it, it will project appropriate interpretation and correspondently educational activities for children, students and adults. Finally, it will use the Beijing Hanshiqiao Wetland Nature Reserve as the case study to prove that the commentary system constructed in this paper, to a certain extent, is practical and the design of the interpretation methods and environmental education activities are operational.
