Studies On The Interpretation's Effect On Visitor's Environmental Behavior Intention

In the 1970 s and 1980 s,interpretation has been widely accepted and researched by scholars.Domestic and foreign scholars has been carried out many research on them,especially mentioned to the environmental education function of interpretation systems,and through this study indirectly the audience behavior and changes affected by interpretation.But the effectiveness of the interpretation system is complex and changeable,this become the short board for the construction of theoretical framework.Especially in the mainland of China,the research on the behavior of the audience is lack of theoretical results.The behavior of tourists,which is produced or changed by the influence of interpretation,is an important part of the research on interpretation system.Therefore,this study is in order to explain the interpretation system,the interpretation content,and its influence on the behavior of the audience as the research object.It is significant to enrich the theoretical results,and to construct the interpretation system framework.Through questionnaire survey and field observation to the effect of the interpretation system of Podatso to tourists' environmental behavior intention,we have preliminary understanding of interpretation system using.At the same time,the influence factors of degree of interpretation system using,degree of interpretation content learning,environmental attitude and environmental behavior intention are also analyzed.The "attitude-knowledge-behavior” theory was applied to predict the environmental behavior intention.The predictive effect of the degree of tourists' interpretation system using to the degree of tourists' interpretation content learning,and the prediction effect of tourists' environmental attitude to tourists' environmental behavior intention are discussed.In addition,the moderating effects of tourists' interpretation content learning between environmental attitude and behavioral intention were also studied.On the basis of literature analysis and previous research,degree of interpretation system using divided into two dimensions that usefulness level and usability level,will degree of interpretation content learning is divided into two dimensions that knowledge of ecology and environmental science,knowledge of tourist's behavior consequences.Descriptive analysis results show that the visitors hold a positive attitude to the degree of interpretation system using and the degree of interpretation content learning in Podatso National Park.Through the correlation analysis and regression analysis,the results show that there is strong correlation between the degree of interpretation system using and the degree of interpretation content learning,and strong correlation between the degree of interpretation content learning,environmental attitude and environmental behavior intention.The degree of interpretation system using has a positive correlation with the the degree ofinterpretation content learning,and the degree of interpretation content learning has a partial mediating effect between the environmental attitude and environmental behavior intention.Finally,according to the research results,it puts forward the pertinent suggestions:(1)writing of the tourism interpretation content should be concise and rich connotation of environmental knowledge as standard;(2)the creation and presentation of tourism interpretation should be integrated with scientific content and closed to the life of tourists;(3)the configuration of the tourism interpretation system should be based on the demand of the tourists;(4)interpreter's status and role can not be replaced;(5)to achieve the goal of the environmental education by interpretation in the strict ecological protection.This research provide reference for scientific design of interpretation system,writing of effective interpretation system content,exploration for national park management system,and target of environmental education to the tourist attractions.
