Study On The Contribution Of Rural Human Capital Investmennt And Development To The Rural Economic Growth In Hunan

In the 21 century, scientific technology advances quickliy, knowledge economy is emerging and national competition becoming severely,which all depengding on the human capitals. Studies on the relationship between human capital investment and economic growth will play an important role on Human resources exploitation, the advancement of productivity and the comprehensive strengh of the nation..Hunan is a big traditional agriculture province, we suffer from a huge number of people which stands in glaring contrast to our poverty of limited resources. And objectively speaking,resources per capita can not be further improved; The foundation of agriculture remains weak,the rural transportation, medical and public health, education,social security and other public welfares remains languished, which bring a huge gulf between the city and the country. One of the obvious consequences of this small-scale agricultural production is that agricultural productivity and commodities were in a low level.Farmers, Rural Areas, Agriculture Production,the most striking contradiction in the development of Hunan,have been handicaping the growth of economics. The effective solution on Farmers, Rural Areas, Agriculture Production will have great effect on economic development and social harmony in Hunan province.In this thesis, empirical research method is mainly adopted, based on theoretical analysis and supported by standard analysis. Borrowing research in the theory of reference, on the basis of practical experience, and guided by human capital theory, development economics, economic growth theory, I have used the statistics from the "China Rural Statistical Yearbook," "China Statistical Yearbook," "Statistical Yearbook of Hunan", and statistics from Hunan Statistical Bulletin, and so on, to analyze the stock of human capital in rural areas of Hunan, investment in human capital status and the economic development of rural area in recent years, from the perspective of the rural human capital. Eviews is adopted to measure the effect of rural human capital investment on the rural economic development quantitatively. Finally, based on the former analysis, the paper provides relevant policy recommendations on the rural human capital development.
