Variation Analysis On The Terms Of Trade Of Wood-based Panel In China

With the development of China's wood-based panel industry, China has become the first wood-based panel producer. Wood-based panel international trade also increases quickly. And China's wood-based panel has a great position in the world. But wood-based panel international trade also has many problems, faced with stern trade environment. Therefore, it is very important to study wood-based panel's terms of trade.First, this paper introduces China's plywood, fiberboard and particleboard from the import-export trade quantity, price and market. And it summarizes the characteristics and problems of wood-based panel international trade. After that, this paper computes and analyses the terms of trade about the three panels, forecasts the future NBTT of wood-based panel by using mathematical model, and discusses the reason about the change of terms of trade. Based on this, I use static state terms of trade and dynamic terms of trade to analyze the change of wood-based panel trade benefit, and to discuss the immiserizing growth of wood-based panel. Finally, this paper gives suggestions in order to improve the terms of trade of China's wood-based panel.
