With the opening of the world trade pattern, the trade stickiness between the big countries is increasing day by day.Trade between China and the world is getting closer and closer. In recent years, the total output of Chinese-made plates is relatively stable, gradually stepping into the stage of high-quality development. The rapid and stable development of wood-based panels not only meets the needs of domestic economic growth and social progress, but also gradually emerges in the international market and becomes one of the main products of China’s forestry foreign trade. How to further increase the international market share of Chinese-made panels and strive for greater development space for the import and export trade of wood-based panels gradually attracted the attention and attention of the government. This paper defines the implied trade flow of wood-based panels in the world as the consumption transfer of wood-based panels. The purpose of this paper is to explore the change of the structure network of global trade in artificial panels by studying the flow of artificial panels implied by global trade.By using the method of multi-region input-output analysis,a model is constructed to measure the flow of artificial panels in global trade. The results show that in the past twenty-five years, the consumption footprint of the global implied wood-based panels has steadily increased, and the structure of the transfer of wood-based panels consumption has changed, mainly as a result of the trend of the flow of the global trade implied wood-based panels, gradually from the trade implied wood-based panels from the hair Countries to developing countries,to trade implied wood-based panels from resource-rich developing countries todeveloped countries.Among them, developing countries with the advantage of labor-intensive products become the main export of wood-based panels.China’s trade implied wood-based panel import and export volume is on the rise, the target of trade gradually expanded from developed countries to some developing countries.Based on the results of this study, the corresponding policy recommendations are put forward.
